Active Week!!
Many thanks for parents Francis Egan, Colin Campbell, Paudge Malone, Denise Egan, Mark Barrett and Olivia and Paul Buckley, who volunteered to help out in their specialty during active week. The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed soccer, rugby and athletics along with many other activities.

St. Cynoc’s N.S. would like to wish Offaly u20’s the best of luck in the All Ireland Final. Many thanks to past pupil Ronan Flynn who came and gave all pupils from 3rd – 6th class a sliotar.
Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Final
Well done to the boys and girls who reached the Cumann na mBunscol final. This was our first year to field a hurling team and we are very proud of the boys and girls. Many thanks to Shane McManus and Mr. Clery who helped to train the team.
Lynx Cylce
Many thanks to the Lynx Cycling Club who brought 6th class on their annual cycle. This year they cycled along the canal.
Acrodance
The boys and girls in all classes enjoyed 5 weeks of Acrodance. They enjoyed a mixture of dance and gymnastics. Many thanks to Deirdre to facilitated the training.
Cumann na mBunscol
Well done to the boys and girls football teams who represented our school so well in all their matches. Special thanks to our coaches Kevin, Liam and Tony who give up their time to help the train the boys and girls, it is much appreciated.
Cycle Right Training Course
The boys and girls from 5th and 6th class enjoyed a 4 week Cycle Right training course. Many thanks to Birr Outdoor Education Centre for providing the training.
