Six Nations Tag Rugby Tournament!
Many thanks to Paudge from Leinster Rugby who organised a Six Nations Tag Rugby Tournament for the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class. The boys and girls really enjoyed the games. Also thank you to the girls from the local secondary school who helped to ref the games. Well done to all involved.
Maths Week Fun
4th class enjoyed Maths Week. They were learning about lines and angles and went on a hunt looking for lines and angles around the school. They also made lines and angles with their bodies. 4th class also enjoyed completing a Maths quiz and stations during the week!
New Helmets!!
Many thanks to Ryan Liddane from Belmont GAA and Dean Bracken our GPO for providing our school with new helmets for hurling training. It is much appreciated.
Tag Rugby Tournament
Thanks to Paudge Malone from Leinster Rugby and West Offaly Lions for organising a tag rugby tournament for the boys and girls. They all enjoyed representing their school.
Cumann na mBunscol Autumn
Well done to the boys and girls team who participated in the Cumann na mBunscol Autumn competition. They represented the school very well. Many thanks to Dean Bracken the local GPO for helping train the boys and girls in preparation for their matches. We would also like to thank our volunteers; Tony Guinan, Kevin Waldron and Liam Cullinan who come on a weekly basis to help train the boys and girls.
