St Cynoc’s National School

Newsletter (2) – November / December 2020

  • It has been a busy term for pupils and staff in St Cynoc’s N.S. The pupils once again should be commended for their hard work and great efforts. They have been great and are taking the new routines in school in their stride. Well done to all the boys and girls.
  • Thank you to all parents for your co-operation with regards to drop off and pick up throughout the term. It has helped immensely with keeping our pupils in their bubbles going to and from school, while also minimising contact between pupils.
  • The children have worked very well this term and their work and activities can be seen on our school website www.stcynocsns.ie under their class name.
  • Our pupils have started watching the Panto this week and it will continue into next week for some classes. They have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.
  • A big thank you to the Parents Association who provided each pupil in St Cynoc’s N.S with a selection box this week. Thank you very much. It is much appreciated.
  • Thank you to Fr Peter for our lovely school mass which we celebrated and watched online on Thursday 17th December from our classrooms. Thank you also to Darragh, Clodagh, Caoimhe, Fia, Natalie and Elsie for their help with readings and prayers during the ceremony.
  • Thank you to Paul Wynne who is kindly donating €750 to our school from the proceeds of Gallen Utd fundraising Santa Experience. It is very much appreciated.
